Can the convenience of a professional medical visit at your home or office keep you focused and on your career track? Absolutely!
Today, many pregnant women in a professional office setting are concerned about taking time away from work for numerous prenatal visits. Working women not only have to try to balance their workload at the office, they also have to balance their family lives. Hours of caring for other children, elderly parents, cleaning, shopping, etc. can easily become very overwhelming, leaving many women physically and emotionally exhausted.
Looking at the bigger picture, according to a recent Kauffman report ,since 2000, women’s labor force participation has actually stagnated despite Census data showing women now hold more bachelor’s degrees than men. This is due in part to expectations placed on professional women, and the rising cost of childcare, especially for parents of multiple children.
Many of today’s moms-to-be want to continue working right up to their delivery date, but how can they do this while achieving quality prenatal healthcare?
